Concussion Training
Face-to-face Training
Parents of children who will be trying out for a sport or joining an athletic club in a Prince William County middle school for the first time must attend a face-to-face concussion training session with their student(s).  The following sessions have been scheduled for Reagan Middle School students:
  • August 26 at 6:00-6:45pm
  • September 1 at 6:00-6:45pm
  • November 4 at 6:00-6:45pm
  • January 21 at 6:00-6:45pm
  • March 30 at 6:00-6:45pm

All face-to-face concussion training sessions will be held in the cafeteria. The student athlete must attend the training with a parent/guardian. Please do not be late. The session will be closed once it begins.

Online Training
Students and their parents/guardians who have previously participated in a Prince William County middle school face-to-face concussion training session are eligible to complete this year's training requirement online. This web-based training is now available at https://online-concussion.pwcs.edu.

Please complete the training and print the certificate that is emailed to you. The certificate must be turned into Mr. Bukva. This website has a history to being busy as it gets closer to tryouts dates. Do not delay getting this training completed. You must watch all of the videos and answer the questions. Fast-forwarding through the videos will cause the system to delay and might lock you out of the website.
