Bus 690 arrived 30 minutes late to Reagan Middle School this afternoon.  The bus will be leaving the school at approximately 3:30; therefore, students will be late arriving home this afternoon.  
RRMS parents may now notify the school of an absence or early dismissal for their student electronically. Please click on the "Attendance" link on the side menu bar and complete the appropriate form. The attendance office will be notified of the absence by email.

Grade 6 and 7 Music Concerts
The Grade 6 Music Concert will be held on Wednesday, June 1. Choir starts at 6:00 p.m. Band and Orchestra start at 7:15 p.m.

Big “Breakfast” Thank You to our First Responders!
Over 30 First Responders were treated to a breakfast buffet and prizes were raffled during the breakfast. It was an honor to show our appreciation to our Home Town Heroes. Students with First Responder parents were able to attend and show their support. A special thank you to all the local vendors who graciously provided donations. Click here to view more photos of this special day.

Grade 8 Dance is Friday, Friday June 3 from 7-9pm
The 2016 theme is "Hollywood" and the dance is FREE to attend.  Tickets will be passed out by homeroom teachers and extras will be available at the front office.  Concessions will be sold, there will be a DJ and Photo booth!  Join us as we plan on "Puttin' on the Ritz" Hollywood Style!!!!!

***Students must present a signed ticket the night of the event in order to enter the dance. *** Students who forget their ticket may have their patent/guardian walk them to the entry door to sign a ticket and complete a permission slip the night of the event. 
Get Ready for Grade 8 End of Year Events

There will be an Award Ceremony on Monday June 13, 2016 during the school day for all grade 8 students. Parents, click here to R.S.V.P.
   There will a celebration for students on Wednesday June 15, 2016 during the school day. Students will be able to participate in several athletic contests, scale a rock climbing wall, visit a video game truck, and enjoy the great outdoors during the morning. A pizza lunch will be served. We welcome volunteers and donations to make this event even more special. Click here  to sign up.

Would you like to Serve on the 2016-17 PTSO Executive Board
Positions are open to all parents of current students and incoming students (rising to Grade 6).  The PTSO focuses on supporting the students and staff.  We sponsor events and raise money primarily through membership and spirit wear sales, including Box TOPS and Business Rewards Programs (Giant, Harris Teeter, and Office Depot), Fall Dance, Teacher Appreciation, Movie Night, and Grade 8 Dance.  We also fully fund the Rider Card Program for our students.  Meetings are typically held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm for one hour. Most work can be handled by phone or email.  The Time commitment is about two hours per month, up to four hours per month when volunteering for a school-sponsored event, such as; Orientation, Back to School Nights, Tail Gate Party, and Grade 8 Celebration/Promotion Ceremony. If you would like to have your name submitted for consideration for any of the above Executive Board positions or would like more information, please join us at the May 11 PTSO meeting, email PTSO at, or click here to visit the PTSO page.

Concussion Training
Face-to-face Training
Parents of children who will be trying out for a sport or joining an athletic club in a Prince William County middle school for the first time must attend a face-to-face concussion training session with their student(s).  The following sessions have been scheduled for Reagan Middle School students:
  • August 26 at 6:00-6:45pm
  • September 1 at 6:00-6:45pm
  • November 4 at 6:00-6:45pm
  • ​January 21 at 6:00-6:45pm
  • March 30 at 6:00-6:45pm
All face-to-face concussion training sessions will be held in the cafeteria. The student athlete must attend the training with a parent/guardian. Please do not be late. The session will be closed once it begins.

Online Training
Students and their parents/guardians who have previously participated in a Prince William County middle school face-to-face concussion training session are eligible to complete this year's training requirement online. This web-based training is now available at 

Please complete the training and print the certificate that is emailed to you. The certificate must be turned into Mr. Bukva. This website has a history to being busy as it gets closer to tryouts dates. Do not delay getting this training completed. You must watch all of the videos and answer the questions. Fast-forwarding through the videos will cause the system to delay and might lock you out of the website.

Welcome to Ronald Wilson Reagan Middle School for the 2015-16 school year. A letter containing important back to school information is being resent electronically to parents and students.
